Inala Rudolf Steiner School for Curative Education was a residential special school for school-aged children at Cherrybrook. It was opened on 1 November 1958 on a five-acre property by Dr Hans Joachim and Mrs Kyra Pohl, along with a group of parents seeking accommodation support for children with intellectual disabilities. It closed in 2005. In 2014, Inala was a service for adults with disabilities.
