'Uniting Church Child and Family Care Services' was the name given to the group which ran Uniting Church Children's Homes after the June 1977 union of the Methodist, Congregational and Presbyterian churches in Western Australia.
The Mofflyn Group, Sister Kate's Home, and the Mogumber Training Centre were the three agencies offering out of home care to children in WA under the banner of the Uniting Church Child and Family Services.
In 1978, the Uniting Care Child and Family Services included the following out of home care administration agencies and Homes:
In 1980, Sister Kate's Child and Family Services was formed to run the Sister Kate's and Mogumber services, cottage Homes and Hostels. The Mofflyn Group ran all other Homes, hostels and services - including foster care and the four 'Mofflyn' children's cottages on a campus in East Victoria Park.
