Isaacs speaks about his decision to resign from the Liberal Party of Australia because of the Commonwealth Government's refusal to offer an apology to the Stolen Generation. He was removed from his mother as a baby and placed at St. Joseph's Orphanage, Subiaco, W.A., then was moved at the age of 2 to Castledare Junior Orphanage and finally at the age of 5 or 6 to Clontarf Boys' Town where he remained until the age of 17. Isaacs recalls his time at Clontarf and discusses his current role as the Chairman of the Board of Management of Clontarf Boys' Town. He also talks about his work as a social worker and his efforts to locate his family. Isaacs expresses his opinion on the need for counselling and community support services for separated families.
