Roelands is the name given to the Seven Hills farm property in Western Australia. Its history in out of home care began in 1932 when the Chandler Boys’ Farm (1932-1937) was established there. The property was later used for the Roelands Native Mission Farm (1938-1975) and Roelands Village (1975-1984). In 2014, Roelands remains as a working farm which has no relationship to its history in out of home care. Prior to its use as the Changler Boys’ Farm Roelands was purchased by Mr Albany Bell, a businessman and philantrhopist who had a particular interest in supporting youth justice and child welfare programs in Western Australia.
